Tailwind

The utility-first CSS framework that standardizes our interfaces with design tokens and speeds up delivery without stylesheets nobody understands anymore.

What it is

Visual consistency that survives maintenance

Tailwind is a utility-first CSS framework: instead of inventing class names and maintaining separate stylesheets, styling lives next to the component, composed from small, predictable utilities. The problem it solves is familiar to any project a few years old: CSS nobody dares to delete because nobody knows what breaks. With Tailwind, removing a component removes its styles with it.

We use Tailwind with design tokens defined at the start of each project: colors, spacing and typography become a closed vocabulary the whole team shares. That keeps the interface consistent even with several people writing code. It is part of our stack TALL and the default in our web projects. When a project has a mature design system built another way, we keep what works: swapping for its own sake solves nothing.

For the people hiring us, the gain shows up in maintenance. Any developer who knows Tailwind can read and change the interface without CSS archaeology, which reduces dependence on whoever wrote the original code. And since unused styles stay out of the final build, the page ships only the CSS it actually uses. Less weight, fewer surprises, and a look that stays coherent as the product grows.
