React Native
The framework that brings React to iOS and Android from one codebase, reusing the team and libraries you already have.
When the React world goes mobile
React Native brings React's component model to iOS and Android apps from a single codebase. Instead of maintaining two native teams and two projects, you write interfaces in JavaScript or TypeScript that render real native components, with the look and behavior users expect from each platform. It is maintained by Meta and used in production by large-scale apps.
Our default on mobile is Flutter, which is exactly why we apply real criteria before recommending React Native: it comes in when React is already part of the house. If your web product is built in React, if your in-house team knows JavaScript and TypeScript, or if there is a React Native app in production to evolve, building on that knowledge usually beats switching stacks.
For the client, the upside is continuity: one language across web and mobile, developers who are easier to find, and libraries shared between projects. We are also upfront about the limits: for apps with heavy animation, intensive hardware use or specific graphics demands, we evaluate with you whether native or Flutter solves it better. The right tool depends on the problem, not on the trend.
- iOS and Android apps from shared code
- Mobile versions of React web products
- Apps connected to existing APIs and back ends
- Evolving React Native apps already in production
- Mobile MVPs to validate ideas with users
